EMSTAL

- Renovation and conversion of a garden house into a residential house in Emstal in the municipality of Kloster Lehnin. The original garden house from the DDR era was built on a steep slope by the owner himself. The lower part was built of bricks, the upper part of thin wooden beams that had lost their strength and stability. The house was used as a weekend house. Due to a Lack of apartments, the client decided to use it permanently. The lower part of the building has been preserved, while the upper part has been redesigned using heat-insulating materials for year-round use.
